Hi all,

I want to apologize to all who are waiting for carbon fiber and geared carbon fiber blanks. Since I lost my real job to downsizing 4 years ago and have been unable to secure another full time job here in Michigan, I turned to my back up plan that I was going to use when I retired to help keep myself busy. That is charter boat operator and tow boat driver on Lake Michigan, and making carbon fiber and lately, geared carbon fiber, pen blanks. The fishing and tow boat is only about a 5 month long season here, so I have to take all the work I can get when ever the opportunity arises to help get me through the long winter, and lately it has been one of my busier seasons , a good problem. But that also means that I have to live on the boat away from home and the shop. This has caused me to fall way behind in production of the pen blanks causing Exotic Blanks to run out and my self as well. I have a number of members here waiting for both geared carbon fiber and regular carbon fiber blanks. I will continue to work on the blanks when ever the opportunity arises and have not forgot about any of you. I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience that I have caused any one.

First things first Gary. I for one understand. We do what we got to do. Just makes their arrival that much sweeter. Be safe out there on the water.

Gary, I don't feel that you need to apologize! Take care of yourself. We deeply appreciate the stunning pieces of art that you create. You don't rush masterpieces and the last thing anyone would want you to do is put stress on yourself. Just take your time!! Regards, Doc

Gary no need to apologize, you take care of you and the rest of us will wait paitently how ever long it takes to get those special blanks!!! You season is short make the most of it!!!!

No need to apologize Gary. Its tough out there, we have to do what's best for ourselves. As a fortunate recipient of some of your blanks, I can definitely say they are worth the wait. Take care.

It is a privilege for us to have such a talented guy supplying us with these beautiful blanks, and that is true no matter how long we must wait for them. Some time out of the shop is good anyway, a little sun, some fresh air, some nice blue water, and the shop when you get home. That is the life!

Gary,

Glad to hear you're having "good" problems. I think we all understand the need to pay attention to priorities and we wish you the best. I expect our hobbies can afford to wait more than your livelihood, and I agree with the other comments that it is worth the wait.

Hopefully, you're not suffering too badly from withdrawal symptoms being away from your home and shop ;-)

-Barry

I agree with everyone also Gary. Your products are top notch but you need to take care of yourself and the family. I hope you remain busy in your work. Take care.
