Looks like a great way to practice your shotgun skills. Take a 12 gauge that holds 7-8 rounds and use 1 1/8oz 7 1/2s and have at em. Probably not an approved method of taking them though.

That's more like hit & run fishing. I like to fly fish. Couple years ago fly fishing on the upper Kings River, a swarm of mayflies came out of the trees and started their mating thing over the small pool of water I was fishing. Rainbow trout started jumping out of the water for the mayflies all around me. The school of trout was almost as plentiful as the swarm of mayflies. Probably 6 to 10 fish jumping out of the water at any one time. I was catching 12+" rainbows just as fast as I could get my line back on the water. Being in Kings Canyon park having that section of the river all to myself and trout jumping all around me like that was just too amazing for words. It was right at sunset too so the scenery was stunning. Once in a lifetime experience.

Is there a limit on how many silver carp one can catch? I mean a minimum limit.

I've seen bow hunting/fishing on the Illinois River - they shoot the fish as they fly out of the water.
