If you have a car, Angelo's Restaurant in beautiful Panacea, Florida, 29 miles away has some of the best, caught the same day seafood I have ever eaten. It is "kinda" a secret favorite of Florida panhandle residents.
Angelo's is closed on Monday and Tursday, but open late the other 5 days of the week. They have a website (google Angelo's Restaurant, Panacea, Fl) and it really worth the drive.
The only thing in Panacea( Wallaculla County, which is Seminole for heavenly fishing) is the fishing industry. After dinner, the Marinas with the fishing boats are an easy walk away.
If you like blue crab, grouper, sea bass and redfish as much as I do, you will be in "panacea".
