It was really cold when I woke up this morning. I'm smart enough to not say more than that though.
I can remember having endured snowy winters in the bad old days. Heavy snow is what god made kids and snow blowers for. Stay safe.

I feel your pain Rob. That same storm is hitting me too. Ive shoveled once and built a snowman with the little one. It's supposed to be done by morning..... I hope. Hard to believe the end of the week is supposed to hit upper 40's. I should have a pretty good supply of mud by then.
Bunches and bunches of rain and wind today.. thank goodness no snow yet. forecast flurries tonight........

Lite snow here this evening at 32 F...not the big storm that you have in Illinois. Hopefully that storm will go out into the Atlantic.

Just started coming down in Indianapolis, where I work. It should be an interesting trip 25 miles north to the house in about an hour

I had the pleasure of driving to Iowa in that mess. I missed the physical part of shoveling, but took a small hit financially.

Haven't seen any snow yet, but it's been getting pretty cold at night. For a couple more days.
It's a blizzard out here. Kroger has a mad rush for Bread and Milk!! I'm stocked up with Tequila and Chef Boy-r-dee:biggrin:

Just got done with round 3 of shoveling. Back starting to get tight now. It came down a lot since 4 was about another 3 inches out there. Hopefully it will be done soon another round and I'll have to take a muscle relaxer. Poor kid next door just took off to head back to U of I... I"m sure that's going to be a pleasant drive.

We got hit up to the north in west central WI. It started yesterday about noon and just quite about 2 hours ago. Kids were happy that school was closed though.

Our kids were upset with the weather. They are on 'spring break' and they missed out on a off day. We got more then we needed over the last 36 houns. Somewhere around 10 inches. We wait till it stops and then shovel once. Half done today, tomorrow the sun will shine and we will finish the driveway.

We are getting our snow on Thursday. Looks like a pretty good snow Got the shovel ready.

Disappointed.
The 12-16" we were supposed to get turned into 3 and most melted before dark. The drive didn't even need to be cleared, bare asphalt.

I'm sitting in our office with the door open enjoying the cool breeze. Should be raining here tomorrow night or friday assuming it does not jump over us again.
