I made a 6-pen set of dyed box elder burls to go with the 6 different colors of Parker refills sold by Exotic Blanks. I used the 8mm Euro style components. I haven't taken a picture of them yet, or even put the colored refills in them.
I can't take a picture of them today, because apparently my wife has taken one of them to work with her. That turns out to be the real use for them. She likes to have a pen to match her outfit, so she's always checking pens out for the day.
I made a complete set of 6 Republic of Texas pens with a stand. I was preparing them for a show. It was sold before the show. I am working on another set now.
It was purchased by a pawn shop owner who came over to pick up his rattlesnake pen. I didn't get a chance to take pictures but they resembled the pic below. All done in antique copper kits.
I've been kicking around a design idea that has turned into 5 or 6 variations of the same theme. I'm still trying to decide exactly how to handle them (set vs. individual).
I made a calligraphy set back in '08 that was requested by a lady for her calligraphy class. One stipulation was different shape for each, a different wood for each, and all woods local to Louisiana.
