I have had an inquiry from a gentleman who would like to learn "advanced penmaking" from a pro.

Anyone who feels qualified, and would like to entertain a visitor for a few days while turning "advanced" pens---please PM me.

All are welcome to comment, if you know of someone who already does this, that would be very helpful.

Thanks for any input!
Ed

It would be helpful to know where this gentleman lives or is he willing to travel and how far.

Yes, he will come to you---distance is not a factor. Anywhere in USA

He also noted he will "self insure", so you need not worry about being insured.

I think that there is enough information in the IAP library, and indeed contained in the many threads of this forum to advance anyone!

That would be true but some people learn differently than others and he may like the hands on tutoring.

I'd be interested in TAKING some lessons. I can't seem to make anything I'm really satisfied with, lately! They are all starting to look the same. It's time to shake up the mix a bit and see if there's any creativity left in me.

Kurt H comes to mind as a coach/trainer who meets all the qualifications. Kurt teaches at Arrowmont and at other locations so has a circula developed.

Barry Gross is another. I understand he has plans for a classroom in his new space in Pennsylvania. Barry also teaches at Arrowmount.
Do a good turn daily!

And, of course, we have several here on IAP who would qualify; which, I assume, is why you posted here.
Don!

Thanks Ken!! Yes, I am looking for suggestions!
