I'm still creating pens from Walnut wood that is from here in KY but the wood is 50 yr.+ old and really makes a beautiful piece of work. Thanks for the Tip though!

Interesting.

I have a several pieces of walnut that I've been sitting on. I even cut a blank off of one and had it stabilized.

The article says that my state is one of the ones that enacted this quarantine.

Wonder how this will play out.

i have walnut out the a** stored in the shed, some over 300 yr old :biggrin:
somehow i don't think i'll need more

now getting rid of it.....that might be an issue

Guess I better get some Walnut before the price skyrockets. Considering where yours came from I think I will not be asking you for prices from your supply.
