Any way to modify this pencil?

I had heard that some Pentel mechanical pencils can be modified by disassembling them and redoing by turining a new wood barrel. Does anyone know if this specific pencil can be modified. I have a customer who had this pencil and LOVED it, so I'm trying to see what I can do to accomodate him.

I did see that, but the pencil I linked to is different than the one in the PDF. That's why I was asking if that specific pencil can be modified. I'd just pick one up and play with it, but it's a $20 mechanical pencil...

I've used one of the pencils you're thinking of modifying and I doubt it'll be easy to modify. It's also a well designed and balanced pencil as it is that really doesn't need modifying.
