Any thoughts/feedback on New Style pen from Berea?

I am looking at the New Style Screw Cap pen from Berea that is on Exotic Blanks website,and was wondering if it's a good kit?

Does the quad-thread 1/4 turn cap work good?

I like the basic look on it.I have a couple more stamp pens I want to make,and this looks like a good one to try,something different.

Assuming you mean New Series pen, I've made several of them but I don't think I'll order any more to be honest.

They are a great small sized pen and I like the overall look. The quad thread is nice, but the threads are metal on metal which I really don't like. The cap typically doesn't stay tight so the cap has a tendency to loosen or come off completely while carrying.

I read in a thread about a year ago that when the pen has all metal threads they put an O ring in side the cap and it kept the cap from unscrewing.

Thanks for the feedback,I was afraid it might loosen up.

Anybody got any suggestions for a thin rollerball like that? I have not had good luck with the snap-cap feature on the Americana from CSUSA,but I'm looking for a skinny style like that,that's reliable.
