I'm making some pens for our local Navy Club's 50th anniversary. Acrylic Sierras with the Club's logo decal.
Somewhere in the sanding/polishing stages I get dark pock marks in the white and I can't get them out.
Typically I turn the pen down on the lathe to finished size. Then I wet sand with 320 then 400 and then wet sand through the micromesh sheet grits up to 12000. Hut plastic polish to finish up.
I just finished an order of 12 similar pens using white wedding and didn't have an issue.I've done this style of pen before without issues but this is a new batch of white wedding that I'm using. Don't know if that's the problem or not.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
