My family is in Chattanooga for the weekend, leaving Monday evening.

I know there is a new WoodCraft nearby. But, does anyone know of another woodworking "candy" store in the area?

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Can't help you with the woodworking candy, but the Aquarium and the Cho-Cho thing are always worth seeing. I didn't know they had a WC store there. Heck, I go through that town twice a month or so. Let me know the location if you find it, so I can check it out.

I'm about an hour north of Chattanooga... I know there's a Woodcraft there.. new store.. but haven't been yet.. usually hit the one in Knoxville since it's a little closer.. also know there's a Harbor Freight on the north side of Chattanooga and a Northern Tools nearby.. don't know of any other places for Woodcandy... but have to second Bob about the Aquarium, Museums and the Choo-Choo..

Add Lookout Mountain and the Incline Railroad to things to do in Chattanooga. We stayed in the Choo Choo in October and had a great time.

Lots to do there but didn't look up any woodworking stores while there. Sorry!

It's at 1414 Jenkins Road. We did not make it by there today.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations.

if you like caves, be sure to see "Ruby Falls". very interesting story as it has no natural entrance.

Raccoon Mountain is a much nicer cave to see just west of Chatt. Also South Pittsburg has a Lodge Factory outlet for cast iron cookery.
If you have time look up the dinner tour on the Southern Belle Paddleboat.
