probably some of the best looking wood I have gotten in a while. Anyone care to guess what it is ?? Going to make some beautiful pens,

Never would have guessed poplar. When I think of poplar I think of cream colored wood with the occasional greeninsh streak.

Never seen any that looked like this either, got from a guy that makes tea lights with it. He is from Eagle Nest, NM . It's up in the northern part of NM, near Red River. Beautiful stuff
