Being cheap LOL...I would like to check if anyone here is good in preparing professional looking resume.

I think I have every info needed in word documents just don't know how to present it properly and effectively. I actually have my resume written but I know it is very rough that William will most likely throw it in the garbage before even reading it. LOL [:P]

I checked online and the price starts around $300.00!!! [:0] While this maybe a reasonable "investment" I don't have that much to burn right now.

I am willing to pay and/or trade for a box full of nice blanks [8)]. (nice is relative but at least that is by my standards)

Any takers?

Hi Dario,

I can help you work on your resume, if you like...I've written quite a few professional teaching resumes in my day, and I teach resume writing in my classes, so I can at least give you a good start! Heck, I helped Marc, and look how many jobs he's gotten! :D

Just send the resume, and I'll give it a go!

Marc,

As soon as he used you as example, I am sold.

For you to land jobs at the rate you do...he must have done a heck of a job. For him to have the presence of mind to use your case in his post is another major point. LOL [}:)];)

I only regret making this post a few months late.

Hey, all kidding aside (shut up Carl :D ) My resume' was an out of control monster... as you can well imagine with all the moving and marriages and job changes... it read more like a cheesy novel [:p]

Now it is more like a teaser... says what experience I have, in what area, for how long... if the prospective employer wants to know more, he has to schedule me for an interview... LOTS better!

.... the only problem has been tailoring the resume' for all the different areas of expertise... I have 1,276 resumes now :D ... muhuhahah!!

When you get the resume together, I work for a placement firm that is across the country. Mainly IT placements, but does other stuff too. If you are interested, send it over to me, and I will put it into the hands of someone who will give you personal service.

No problem at all! Been there done that, and anything I can do to help, you just let me know. You can send me the final resume, to the address I just sent you, and I will get them working on it as soon as you are ready. I will start calling the ole trusty network of folk when I get a better idea of what you are looking for.
