I did a quick check of our spam filters. We have three in place, one on the mail server and two on each computer. I could not find any emails like you are describing. Sounds like you managed to get onto someone special love list. Sorry to hear about it, I know that can be very frustrating.

do like i did. I got a provider for my website that gives me 500 email addresses. Any time I have to give out my address for something I want on the web I make up a new one specifically for that site. I start getting spam to it I delete it spams gone and it doesn't affect the rest. Right now I am using 54 email addresses.

I don't know if it something I signed up for years ago or what, but I am getting a bunch of emails from people telling me they have a new yahoo email address. Some are in the format you describe. Somehow my spam filter catches most of them.

This is a new email virus. If you do a search you can find numerous referrals to it. Don't open them.
