Antler Slimline

This Slimline whitetail Antler.. The PSI Black Chrome Kit was dificult getting the cap to slip through the clip. This is the third time and its only the Black Chrome. Anybody else having this problem??

YES I've had the problem where the pocket clip would not come close to going over
the top. I've taken a round file and filed the inside of the clip to make it fit.
I've also forced it on with a junk pen tube and the press and then installed it
on the pen

Had that problem a few times. But only here recently.

I don't use PSI but other slimline kits have this problem and I just use my arbor press and assemble like normal.

I've had that problem, most recently with two satin blue kits. I've also been able to force them but with the most recent one, I learned the hard way that I should do that as kghinsr described- using a spare tube, since on this second one, I had to push so hard on the pen press that it cracked the wood at the opposite end. So now I have a clip and cap that are together (quite tightly), but I'm having to put an oops band at the opposite end of the pen. [V][V][V]

The pen looks good. I've had the finial problem with some of my slimline kits as well, but I can usually force it through without too much problem.

Very nice pen. I have that problem many times, but I just file a small amount off and suddenly all my problems vanish!

Bernie, I've only had that problem once, and it was with a PSI Black Chrome slim. I decided to make it clipless and I still have the clip.
