LOWE Boat factory here in Lebanon MO fired (not laid off, terminated)hundreds early on in the pandemic seeing the handwriting on the wall. They had been stockpiling for a huge summer with the soaring economy. That stockpile will probably last several years now. The market will be flooded with nearly new Bass boats whose owners can no longer afford their payment.

Personally, this really hurts.
I've been an owner, a technician, and a dealer most of my working career.
Somewhere I have a photo of myself with a 7 1/2 hp Evinrude on a 14' Oldtown Skiff taken in 1957.
The smile was ear to ear.
When OMC went bankrupt (I was a dealer at the time) I stuck by the brand then purchased by Bombardier and was very hopeful for their success. Now it's done and going...like Johnson, Gale, Force, and yes Buccaneer to name a few.
I'll row before I purchase a Mercury.
