And here it is. I used blue paint from Dollar Tree that I darkened up with blue food coloring. Not the BEST paintjob ever, but it worked. I had some nastiness with this one. A large hollow spot formed while the blank was curing and it was of course in the perfect spot for the drill bit to find it during drilling. I back-filled it with CA and crossed my fingers and it was UGLY. I got a pick out and gouged it all out pretty deep once the barrel was close to finished, and added silver PearlEx and CA to it. It's not a dead perfect match, but it's pretty hard to detect now.

You put together a decent pen -- looks good allowing for some reflectance in the photos.

Yeah, photos just aren't my thing. I did have some lighting issues. Should be an easy fix next time I bust the camera out.
