My latest potpourri bowl turned as a gift for my aunt. It's made out of a Maple Burl and is approx. 8" X 3". The lid is from CS while the bottom decoration is from Michaels. It's hollowed out to approx. 1/2" and is finished with gloss wipe on poly from Minwax.

Another lovely bowl! Great shape and like the pretty side accents on the bowl. The pleasant wood really display the intricate designs on the kits. Great job!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind comments!!! I've tried to make my turnings a little different by adding an accent to the bottom of each turning such as this one. I've used several medalions, buttons and other ornaments to accentuate the lid or top of the turning and I hope this little fillagre ornament enhances the design.
