another obsession

This is my first ever test ring, to test the angle of the sled i built. Not bad for a $7 multi tool from HF to tell me where to set the fence. I think i will leave it just as it is and hang it on the wall in my shop. Just a hunk of pine 2X4 but it is cool to me.

watch out..segmenting becomes an obsession...good luck

Now .. just tape those segments to a faceplate, core out the middle and then
stack another ring on top of it. Repeat .. repeat .. repeat.. and put yourself
together a travel mug. They look great in segments..

Actually, i think i am gonna keep this ring as a memento and start over. I want my first segmented piece to be a bowl for my mom for Christmas.
