Another noob

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I was the recipient of a ship smith a few years ago and have played with lathe a bit. Made a couple small bowls and a crude duck call a while back. Just getting into pen turning and having a blast. Have turned out about half of the 30 funline kits that I purchased.

Welcome. I wish you luck with that lathe. I highly suggest you do some reading of past threads involving people with a ShopSmith lathe and pen turning. You will need a bit more equipment than us with a standard wood lathe but they do turn pens. Good luck.
