Another mother-in-law in hospital

If I'm a little slow responding to PM's or emails this week, it's because my mother-in-law is in the hospital. EMS took her last night for chest pains. When they did the scan on her at the hospital, it was determined that she needs a quadruple bypass. She was then transferred to Memorial Herman Heart and Vascular hospital last night. Jan is staying with her and since it's in the Texas Medical Center, I can at least go into work several hours a day and keep caught up.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. BTW, she is 88 and right now in good spirits.

Hey Monty,
I will put her and you and family on my prayer list. Have spent days in hospital and also traveling back and forth to the hospital.

Just sitting here in the waiting room today. She went into surgery about an hour ago, so lets see, they said about an hour prep, 4-5 hours for the bypass and another hour in post-op.
Looks like I'll be here a while today.
BTW, forgot to mention this is just what LOML wanted to be doing today....today is her birthday.
 
Surgery was finished about 4:20 this afternoon. Dr said she did fine for her age. Ended up with a triple bypass. Now we just need to get her through the recovery.
Thanks go out to everyone for their thoughts and prayers, but please keep them up through her recovery.

Mannie,you Jan and your MIL are in my and Dianes thoughts. After meeting both of you this weekend we feel just closer.
