I am loving this Honduras Rosewood burl. It is fun to see what these blanks are hiding once turning starts. It takes a while because of constant CA apps, but it's worth it. I turned down just shy of the bushing, the sanded. Sand from 320-600. Applied 10 coats of thin CA. I get the best results doing it this way. It always comes out smooth and even for me. I started my sanding wet from 600 up to MM12000. All wet.

Thanks for the comments. I love this kit. It shows off a lot more material than Sierras. It doesn't hurt when you have the opportunity to work with this great wood. Thanks again!

Looking forward to the PITH!
