Just finished this one yesterday. Stabilized double dyed red maple burl for barrels. Comments good or bad welcome.

Excellent pen - superior finish! Congrats on an extremely well done job!

(Really good photography, too - but I'd incr exposure 1/2 stop or so)

It's fun when they come out so nicely to call them "Another Burl"

Speaking of burl-ish, what is your wood in the 'photo prop'?

Scott (it'll sell like BBQ at a church revival) B

I don't no for sure. It was a piece of driftwood Jen found up at her mom and dads cabin several years ago. I cleaned it up and shot it with a little lacquer just to make the grain stand out more and that is what I got. The cabin is on lake Skegamog. There is a lot of pines, and ash up there so just guessing its one of them.

Thanks for the comment!

OW MY EYES!!!!! The glare from that finish is blinding.

That is another great finish. I've never been a big fan of dyed wood, but your last two pens may make me rethink that.

I'm not a fan of that style of pen BUT I believe your F&F is Outstanding. Beautifully crafted! Thanks for posting and great photos too. Be well.....Jan
