Another Dinosaur(?)

Looked at BHW website today and found no El Grande Convertible Pencil. Ball Point kits listed. I really hope this is not discontinued. The finished product can be pencil or pen, and is quite light weight. I find its' size quite comfortable to hold and can write using it without wearing out my hand.

So, I took an old school kit in Black Titanium and matched it with an old school acrylic blank, AA 28, in Yellow with Black Swirls. Attached are a couple of quick snaps. Comments are definitely welcomed.

How fun! I was cleaning my back porch and thinking about yellow and black blanks (not joking) and here is something! I really like the tight black lines in the yellow. That kit fits that blank very nicely!

Thanks David. That particular design is a close replication of something Parker Pen Co. used on some of their Duo-Fold pens in the late 1920's, early 1030's.
