Another Blank I Got ...

While I don't do a lot of wood anymore, I got this blank the last time I visited Ed at Exotics. He had just got the shipment in and I wanted to try a few. While my picture taking skills are not great to give the wood the justice it deserves - Red Mallee Burl. I must say it required sharp tools to cut it, but took a finish so well. I think this is a great piece of wood. The color and burl is so clear.

I have not had time to turn any of that wood, but we have a lot of it and it all looks good from the outside--
your picture proves it is a lot prettier on the inside!!

A pen to be proud of!! (Until someone wants to buy it, then a pen to make a nice profit!!)

You are correct the Vertex Supreme. I am a big fan of this kit. The Vertex Supreme has the magnetic closure - which is very popular with my customers.
