This is the 3rd one of these I've posted. In the first post I talked about how I put the blank together. The second one I wasn't quite pleased with the color of the skin and wanted to improve the casting process. Unless this is a fluke I think I'm finally there. I like the depth of the cast and the color tone of the skin. The snake is a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake from West Texas. The kit is an actual size 50 cal bolt action I found at a local wood store. Questions and Comments Welcome.

Nice work, Kenny !!

What is the length of the center section .... the tube covered with snakeskin ?

And also, the overall length of the complete pen ?

Thanks, Kenny. . I have kept a record of your 3 threads about your construction of these 3 pens.

You got the 50 Caliber Bolt Action pen kits from Wood World in Dallas, TX

The tube or blank is 1 1/2" long. The overall pen length is about 5 7/8".

Your 1st thread was on Feb 21/21. . This thread shows the pen with the red barrel and logo

Your 2nd thread was on Feb 28/21. . Snakeskin barrel

And now today's thread on Mar 04/21. . Snakeskin barrel

Please correct me if I have made any mistakes.
