Like I did, get her a new lathe.........she still doesn't get involved with turning but the lathe has been great.......the black eye didn't last very long either.
The easy part - dinner out and a gift of her favorite pelasure (wine, chocolate, starbucks, etc)
The hard part - write a letter listing for her the 9 reasons she is the best thing to ever happen to you OR the 9 events over your years together that are the most memorable.
Leather whip
leather padded handcuffs
Thigh high leather 4 inch stilettos
All things you should probably avoid.
Give her the gift of time and drop her off at a prepaid day spa. Massage, facial, mani/pedi (a friend worked in a spa and this was what she called the nail treatments) no kids no husband. This is what I did for one of our anniversaries. It was well received. Me and my oldest son who was a toddler then did man things. It was a great day.
Maybe send a big bouquet of flowers to her job. My wife says I embarrass her, but I think she loves that it shows all the people she works with her husband cares.
I'm with Monty and his suggestion.
My bride and I just celebrated our 42nd on Halloween and jewerly and a nice dinner did the trick.
Congratulations,
Vern
