Tomorrow is our 9 year anniversary, and I am stumped as to what to get my wife. Suggestions? (can't wait for the smart tail ones).

You thought I was going to say "Make her a pen", that is not it.

Well uhh...yea..it is.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Happy Anniversary.

Well, since a pen has already been suggested :biggrin:, you can never go wrong with jewelry and taking her out for a nice romantic dinner.

I was thinking of turning a music box out of some acoustic wood like Cedar or Maple for Christmas, but time is short for tomorrow.

The traditional gift for the ninth anniversary is pottery. The modern one is leather. Hit the mall with an eye toward those two materials.

The easy part - dinner out and a gift of her favorite pelasure (wine, chocolate, starbucks, etc)

The hard part - write a letter listing for her the 9 reasons she is the best thing to ever happen to you OR the 9 events over your years together that are the most memorable.

Leather whip
leather padded handcuffs
Thigh high leather 4 inch stilettos

All things you should probably avoid.

Give her the gift of time and drop her off at a prepaid day spa. Massage, facial, mani/pedi (a friend worked in a spa and this was what she called the nail treatments) no kids no husband. This is what I did for one of our anniversaries. It was well received. Me and my oldest son who was a toddler then did man things. It was a great day.

Maybe send a big bouquet of flowers to her job. My wife says I embarrass her, but I think she loves that it shows all the people she works with her husband cares.

Ed,

I'm with Monty and his suggestion.
My bride and I just celebrated our 42nd on Halloween and jewerly and a nice dinner did the trick.
Congratulations,
Vern
