ANGEL Award

I was fortunate to have played a small part in creating this award from the King Center in Atlanta. A.N.G.E.L. (Advancing Nonviolence through Generations of Excellence in Leadership) is a new award presented during the King week festivities. My small part was the laser engraving and fill on the front, back and bottom of the base, plus I engraved a disc that was then molded and cast to fit on the tops. The whole inner core glows from a light in the base.

The bottom base (five in all) was turned by Nick Cook, the upper flame and acrylic core was created by a special effects studio here in Atlanta, and it was all designed and assembled by an Atlanta based design studio.
