New totally new to smartphones, recently got a Samsung Galaxy SIIx. I'm looking for an Android 'notebook type' app. One that can be catagorised. Eg Motorcycle, Truck, Home, Penmaking, etc.
If I go to the m/c store for parts, oil etc. I would have the info on hand, make, model, serial #, parts references etc. Looking to do away with all the "bits of paper", (& remembering to take them!)
What do you use? pro's & con's? Free would be nice but doesn't have to be.
I'm looking at apps like Evernote, notepad etc are they the right apps for what I'm looking to do?
Thanks for any info.

Evernote rocks - I don't have a android, but I use evernote to sync between my iPad, iphone and pcs.

I suggest giving it a look - for free you can't lose!

Before the I phone I used color note very nice only one drawback you couldn't use it with the computer. My droid phone some how did a clear everything rest about a week ago. I lost most everything but the contacts. So I lost a number of notes of info on machines and materials that I carried around when I was out picking stuff up, all the car info filters etc. I would go with the evernote as suggested above, I 'm sorry I didn't.
Since I have only had the I5 for less than 24 hours it is a royal pain in the seat, transferring over to the new operating system. My kids says it will get better .
