Andiroba Clarinet Stand

My recent decision to begin playing my clarinet again (24 years after I last played professionally) spurred me to make a nice, custom stand since I could handle the spindle part myself. My boyfriend Larry made the base which is routed out on the underside to hold 1" of steel plate for weight (so it won't tip over). It came out beautifully, I think...

Very nice, and if you give up the clainet again you can get some plastic rings and use it for a ring toss game when you are bored. []
