This has been on my want to do list for quite awhile. My back gave out on me so I didn't get the cap done, maybe tomorrow.
Eastern Red Cedar finished with The Doctor's walnut oil/shellac/wax brew.

Those are fun to make. I haven't seen the one like you did. Do you twist the wooden barrel to release & tighten the blade? I've only played with the ones that twist from the tail end.
