I am of Irish descent - my grandparents on both sides came to the US in the early 1900s.

My dad had a framed W.B Yeats quote on his desk for years. - when he passed, I got the quote, which is above my desk right now.

The quote: "Being Irish he had an abiding sense of tragedy which sustained him through temporary periods of joy"

Superb artistry! My ancestory is apparently from the south of Wales, so I'm close! In College, I was in the marching band at the College of Wooster (Ohio), playing Euphonium. We wore Tartan Kilts!.
