You still have time to sign up for the American Association Of Woodturners National Symposium – June 12 – 15 at Saint Paul RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota. There are numerous sessions this year on pens and pen making. I will be doing 3 demos – 2 on pens (Beginner To Professional in 90 Minutes and Differentiating Yourself In The Pen World Without Casting) and an additional one on turning gift items for the holidays. If you wanted to know more about casting – John Underhill will be doing 2 demos on casting – one for the pen maker and one for the general turner (as if pen making is not enough). Come out and join us. And if that is not enough there will be a Learn To Turn session at the symposium where you can bring family members to make their own pen. The AAW symposium is always fun. Come out and have some fun, learn some new techniques, and yes there will be a huge vendor forum - ExoticBlanks and Ed Brown - to see all the cool new tools and gadgets we can't live without. Hope to see you in Minneapolis.

Thanks Mark! I appreciate you mentioning me. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and spending some time in the vendor room! I've already started a list of needs to buy 😬. I believe there are 80 demos being offered. It will be a busy weekend!
