Another Italian resin import. Sometimes simpler is better. This pen just feels great--like cebloplast.

thats the very pen I am supposed to making for my wife. That is her favorite blank I have brought in the house. How do you finish your pens if you dont mind sharing. It is very good.

Thanks, Phil! My finish is pretty conventional--sand from maybe 320 to 2000 with wet, then micromesh to 12,000. Then Hut's Plastic polish.

That is a WOW pen for sure! Has your wife claimed it yet?

Charlie, thank you! No, LOL! She's very much NOT a pen person.

Very nice Robert.

Is that a 6mm nib? Just trying to get a feel for the size of the finished pen.

Thanks, Carl. Yes, it's a #6 Meisternib.

Nice Robert - I made a custom FP from that material last year and I love the way it works and finishes.

Yes, Lynn, I agree. This is one of the best materials available today. I haven't tried the teal yet.

A spectacular pen! Your pictures are also fantastic. Would you mind sharing how you photograph your pens.

Thanks,

Tony

Ah, yes, the photos. I do not do them like the real photographers say.

I do not use any extra lighting, just the normal shop lights.

I do not use a tent.

I put the pen on a piece of white plastic material and stand another piece behind it.

I try to capture the reflections of my shop lights in the pen finish.

My camera is a digital SLR, and I set it for florescent lights and aperture priority. I set it on a tabletop tripod and use the 10-second timer.

I crop and edit in Windows 7 Photo Gallery.

Thassit!

Robert, once more you set the standard.
A clean solid look is worth all the bling in the world, There is an old saying "chrome won't get you home" well, this beauty will get ya home and tuck you in!

Keep making them,I need stuff like this to study.

Robert,
Another beautiful pen. I've turned the gray version, but it does not stand up to the blue in depth. Yo have put this material on my wishlist. Thanks for posting.
