I haven't turned Amboyna Burl in a long time. This is one of the pieces I got from Rodney a long time ago. I really like the mix with the copper hardware.

I've also changed my picture taking technique. Let me know what you think. Still making adjustments. I've got the white balance dialed, may need to adjust the exposure a bit.

Looks great Steve , nice fit and finish . The photo is a little too dark but nice and clear , good job .

Thanks everyone for the comments.

That was my thought too, but if I increase the exposure even a 1/3 of a stop, it starts washing out the grain. But I found this to be true on a lot of the darker grain woods.
