Amboyna FP

In my opinion, one of the nicest woods in the world. I love working with this stuff Simple Jr Gent with Amboyna, finished with Mylands. This is for my personal use, and I just prefer the feel of the wood so opted to just refinish every once in a while instead of CA or Laquer...

Nice pen, I agree with you about the finish. Purdy, Holland & Holland, and other fine gunmakers always use a satin finish on the world's most expensive shotguns. There is a place for both a nice satin finish and a high gloss finish on pens.
