Last month I visited Adelaide 1000 mil;es away for a family reunion. The reunion was attended by 600 relatives descended from my GGrandfather and GGmother who arrived in South Australia in the early 1740,s, (Bennier) French living in Germany. A cousin Mark published a book on the family with 7242 individual persons listed and cross referenced divided the book into 900 pages parents and decendants of the twelve children the book weighs 5 lbs. The following Wednesday met with Ist cousins and family from my name family, the next day admitted to Royal Adelaide Hospital with Double Pneumonia and double some lengthy name illness. So many members of the forum contacted me by phone and three one from Washington State, one from Melbourne and one Nth of Newcastle sent me these flowers. Being 77 brings its blessings and drawbacks, given the all clear last week.
Before I left home I made a few pens for gifts as well as this Amboyna Pen.
Kind Regards Peter.
