Beautiful pen. The finish looks great.

Was the amboyna stablized? The reason I ask, is that I find amboyna a pita to turn. Unless I use really sharp tools and take light cuts, I get a lot oof chip out.

Hi, Jeff it was as easy as pie,it was not stabilized,it turned without any chip out,and it had a nice smell to it. I am selling blanks in ind.classified,if you want a sample i`ll mail you a small piece to see for your self. Regards,Carl
