Sorry, meant to include that in the original post.

I am trying two different finishes with wooden handle razors. I gave my Dad an Amboyna handled razor at Christmas with a CA finish.

This razor, I am going to keep. For this one, I used a Gloss Polyurethane.

Comparing the feel of the two razors, I like the feel of the poly in my hand.

With all wooden handle razors, I seal the milled ends with thin CA before turning.
