G'day!
Had a customer send me a pic of a similar pen made a while ago asking if I could make him one similar!
No problems!! Have a few of these amazing blanks left!
Stabilised by my mate Peter Southworth in Australia. Paired with kirinite rioja pearl finials, section and barrel sleeves.
Cap is sleeved with ebonite for that mmm ebonite thread feel!! It is a thing!!
M 14 × 1.0 triple start, 89 grams, 141 mm uncapped, 150 mm capped.
Natural polish (stabilised timber is like resin and polishes up to a semi gloss, which looks great in my opinion. Also could take the kirinite shinier but it's probably enough.

Jowo #6 m nib. New housings have been in circulation for a while now, all of my pens come with the newly improved feed and housing.
BTW Jim the clockman, stop on the second last picture my friend! 😂🍺

Another absolutely exquisite pen. I really like the shape of the barrel as well as the choice of materials. Another out of the park home run. Thanks for sharing with us Casey.
Do a good turn daily!

Absolutely B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L pen, Casey ! !

Thanks for showing ! ! . . In the last picture, is that a collet chuck on the left ? . . . holding a mandrel .

And . . thanks also for the construction details ! ! . . Very interesting and useful

Wow Casey, this is a nice pen!
But 89 gr, that is pretty heavy 💪 , can you write with it longer than the time of a signature? 🤔

Striking color combination, and just enough swirl in the red to make it interesting without trying to compete with the complex wood grain. Beautiful.
