Amber Cactus w/ copper

Visited Mesquiteman at his shop and was given Agarita and this Cactus Blank when I first started turning. Need to refinish it since I decided to put it on a thicker plating copper Jr gent. Its a bit too small for the copper So I am assuming I could build it up with CA??

The color matching looks great all the way around but it doesn't look totally like copper - more like a deep gold color. I still like it! CA building up for sizing works fine. No problems except doing it.

Lupe, that pen definitely has the wow factor! I have two catus blanks Roy gave me way back when. I haven't had the nerve to risk ruining them yet. This pen may give me the push I need to give them a try.

I believe that was one of the off color copper blanks I gave you that you were not supposed to show anyone since it was a "reject"! It sure did turn out nice, though. Good job!
