Hi All,
Recently at my sometimes day job I spent a couple days cutting aluminum on a CNC router. Before I committed all the waste/scrap to recycling I thought I would bring a gallon bucket home. My thought is that those who do casting could embed this into their castings.

I would be willing to send a cup or two to anyone who asks, until the supply is gone.In return I would like 1 blank from the casting project.

I also think it would be cool to get as much into different hands as possible to see the range of creativity.

PM's are being sent to all who responded so far.
I will try to package and ship by end of day tomorrow.
As a note to all be sure to wash the shavings in Lacquer Thinner or Denatured Alcohol.
They were all cut with an industrial cutting fluid and I hate for it to create an adhesion problem.

Add To:
I have packaged the shavings up into 14 sandwich bags with approx 2 cups in each.6 are spoken for
8 currently remaining.i do not have casting equipment or the skills so that is the reason for the "collaboration".
If there is a higher demand than supply ,I can make a call and try and acquire more.

Andy I'm curious as to the alloy of aluminium you have there. We have truckloads at work but it is almost all the 7000 series aluminium used in aircraft.

Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner because I can't reach my desktop!
