Turned this one yesterday. It is 6061 aluminum, turned on my metal lathe with no problems, just takes a little more time to drill, turn and polish. Hope y'all like it as much as I do. Let me hear

Nice looking pen, is it turned on a metal turning lathe? What would you use for a finish on a pen like this, and with it being aluminum do you use the brass tubes or not? I don't think they would be needed, but I'm not sure.

Admittedly I had to google aluminum 6061, learned something new. Really nice looking pen, sleek.

Len,
Yes, I used a metal lathe and used a brass tube because the 3/8" drill is a little sloppy and next size under is too tight. Later I might try an under size drill and proper size reamer.
Thanks for the interest.
