Where can I find aluminum and other metals to make pens with?

since you havent put where your at in your information we will start with Ebay, box stores LIke lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. If your outside the US the answers may not apply. Welding shops if there is one around you may have cut-offs and "drops".
We have metal supply businesses locally as well that carry material for the trades.

I use sheets of brass, copper, and aluminum from hobby lobby.

I have used this company:

Whimsie Studio Craft Metal & Tools. Sheet & Wire in Copper, Aluminum, Brass & Nickel

for brass, aluminum and copper sheet metals for my segmented pens. At the time I looked, they were the cheapest that I found.
(Unless you just want to use aluminum from soda cans, that works too).

Not sheets,I meant aluminum rods and other metals to make metal pens with,not necessarily segmented ones.

I have a set of aluminum rod cut to length for a cigar pen (not drilled) if you are interested in trading for something else.

Wood Craft has some smaller diamiter brass rods and I think aluminum. I do not think they have any to drill length wise to make a pen.

my local ace hardware has aluminum rods in 1/2 and 1" sizes. 4 feet of half inch is only 12 bucks.
It is a lumber yard ace but something like that may be near you.
