I got my first alumilite kit recently,
the water clear version, and poured one up today.
Life is good,new resin,blah-bla,ba-blah-blah..:D
Long story short,it never set.Alrighty,then!
And I NOW know why;
I will contact them, and see what they say,because..
I received both cans part "A" .

NOW FOR the question..any way to save the cast?
or is it doomed?
I know it's probably not happening, but ya never know!
Thanks in advance.

Doomed--------sorry
You would never get the mix right at this point
I need to print this one---
Sounds like something I would do.
Merry Christmas
Hey I just noticed we are driving past your place in the morning.
We will wave from the interstate

I went ahead poured the molds out
and cleaned up.
I emailed customer service at Alumilite
about the missing part "B". Sigh.:)
I hear ya,Steve!I have a fresh gallon of Silmar 41,
but had heard so much good about the Alumilite,
I got a small kit to try.

I'm just messen with ya John. Some day I may switch to Alumilite. Just don't want to spend the $$ till I can make it worth my investment. Just got an order for three Label cast company pens, Sierra's, getting $120.00 for the three. That will pay for this last gallon of PR and some.

Steve,I thought it was funny:D:D
Cripes,I'm still laughing at myself!!!
I mean,both cans labeled part "A"..DOH!!
I'm not sure I'll switch to Alumilite, this is more
of a cautious trial.
I like the idea of low odor, but my real test is going
to be on the lathe.I can turn pr fine,it just really
tries my patience.
Congrats on the order,nice.:)
