I 'roughed out' six more, and started drilling the 'two step' goose call barrels. That's no fun....got to have the right step, or the insert fits like a crap(looks even worse). Good news, the taper on a goose barrel is easier to get right then the duck barrels(don't know why, just does).

There are places where you actually have to use a call to see a goose? When I lived up north you couldn't walk three feet without tripping over a goose (or slipping in what they leave behind).

Hunters feel better calling them into be 'whacked'....just doesn't seem fun to bust'em from 150yards out with a .223:eek:
