Airbrushed Galaxy Pens

This is a project I have been working on for a while. Airbrushed galaxy tubes. These are my latest efforts. These were painted with Createx paints.

This is one of two attempts to use Black 3.0 from Culture Hustle. It absorbs light and I knew that casting it in resin would kill some of the properties of it but it was still very blank. The problem is with both castings the resin seemed to react to the black paint. The black pain areas were very gray/muddy. Lesson learned.

Interesting, as for the cloudy blanks it actually looks like the resin did not get fully mixed. I have had that exact look in some blanks that I have poured.

That's something I had not thought of. I may do a control test and see. I have only been casting for a short time and have not seen this problem except with the two attempts with the Black 3.0.
