Agarita root with blackwood inlay

I've had this agarita root sitting for over 8 months. It started yelling at me on Tuesday. I inlayed it with some black wood and viola, turned out nicer than it looked rough cut. Frosted gold Euro dry finished to 12k mm then friction polish and ren wax. Thanks for looking.

Great looking pen Alex. The first thing that "erupted":biggrin: into my mind was Eddie Van Halen's bumble bee stripped guitar from the early 80's. Very cool.

No, it is definately Agarita. Mescalbean is much more orange and has very different figure.

Alex, the pen looks great my friend! BTW, it is mescalbean time so I will get some picked up and sent to you.
