Adventures with CA glue

Every so often people have a story with CA glue and an ahh crap moment.

Well I have another one, I have spent most of the day in the dog house working on a few orders. Well I came in and itched my nose, and I thought I had a dry crusty one on the end of my nose and ended up being CA glue, that stung pulling it off.

There was a radio show years ago (Coast to Coast), Art Bell was the host. I worked a lot of nights and enjoyed the show to stay awake ect.

One night during a live broadcast, he did them from his home, he was talking and messing round with stuff on his desk. Well, during a commercial break, he spilled some super glue and was quickly trying to clean it all up before going back on the air. Well the time came and he made it in time. As he was talking, he went to lite a smoke...then the radio went silent. Then off to another commercial, then more commercials. Finally after about 10 minutes he was back on live. He told the story of what happened. The super glue was all over his hands and was on the smoke...so when he put it to his lips, it bonded instantly. He glued his mouth shut LOL He panicked and ripped them apart, taking half his lip in the process.
 
I was using thin super glue to finish my pens. One day the tip was clogged and with out thinking I tried to use my teeth to clean the end of the noozle and got super glue on my teeth . That was a really weird feeling...... (I now use a new noozle)
 
I love CA glue for what it can do but I hate to use it. Today I was putting together a bullet pen and the glue ran down my hand and and I glued the brass case to my finger. Took about 20 min to clean the case with acetone. The rest of the afternoon I was picking glue off my hand.
