Acrylic pen

I just completed my first acrylic pen . I sanded it with micro mesh and it looks very nice . Does it need an additional finish ?

I use the micro pads from Woodcraft. I keep the chart over the lathe and go from there. I finish up with Hut Ultra Gloss. Others use auto polish compounds. Welcome if I hadn't done this before.
